Sage and Rice Stuffing
Ingredients:
1/4 cup ground, cooked sausage
3 tbs. chopped onion
1 cup chopped celery
2 tbs. oil
4 cups boiled rice
1 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup cream
1/4 cup grated Grafton Sage Cheddar
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Sauté onion and celery in oil. Stir in sausage and brown. Remove from pan and combine mixture with rice, breadcrumbs, cream, sage cheddar and spices. Makes 4-5 cups stuffing.
Best used for poultry & wild-fowl stuffing.
