The Orb Weaver is a small spider known for spinning delicate, round webs. This dedicated, hard-working creature represents the work ethic of the farm's co-owners, Marian Pollack and Marjorie Susman.

A truly farmstead New England cow’s- milk cheese producer, Orb Weaver makes its delicious hand-made, raw milk Farmstead Cheese using nothing but the milk of their 7 Jersey cows.  Marian and Marjorie have produced their Farmhouse Cheese and practiced sustainable agriculture on their picturesque Champlain Valley farm since 1981.  The cheese is made entirely by hand in small batches twice a week.  It is available year round but made from November through May, leaving time for Marion and Marjorie to raise and harvest their 3 acre organic market garden.

Orb Weaver Farmhouse Cheese has a natural buttery color and smooth creamy texture with a slightly tangy, full bodied flavor.  It is delicious off the wheel with wine, melts beautifully to compliment any recipe, brings grilled cheese sandwiches to new heights and distinctively tops nachos and pizzas.  It comes in 2 and 6 pound waxed wheels.  An all natural cheese, no antibiotics, hormones, or BST are ever used.

Recently Orb Weaver Farm introduced a cave aged variation on their original recipe.  It is aged in a specially built underground cave on the farm. The result is a robust complex array of nutty earthy flavors and a firm slightly drier texture. Available in 2lb. and 10lb. wheels, the cheese was awarded a blue ribbon from the American Cheese Society.

The cheese may be purchased at the farm, at select retail operations, fine restaurants, or by mail order.
