Chase Hill Farmstead cheese is handcrafted in small batches from fresh top quality raw milk. We use exclusively the milk from our own herd of grassfed cows. Our raw milk (guaranteed rBST-free) contains all the flavor milk was meant to have and creates a special flavor in our cheese. Milk produced by grassfed cows, and subsequently cheese made from that milk, is a rich source of "good" fats such as CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) and omega-3 fatty acid. We produce 8lb. wheels of Farmstead Colby Cheese and Farmstead Cheddar using vegetarian rennet and we make small Camembert wheels. Chase Hill Farm is a small family farm located in the Pioneer Valley of Massachusetts. We practice sustainable methods of agriculture including: Rotational grazing Our heard of 30 Jersey, Normande, and Holstein cows produces organic certified milk for our cheese! |
