Carleton Yoder handcrafts his cream cheese at Champlain Valley Creamery's (CVC's) certified organic facility using fresh, organic whole milk and cream from a producer in Bridport, Vermont, near the shores of Lake Champlain. The cheese is made using a traditional two-day method, allowing the cheese to culture overnight, and salting and packing it by hand. The cheese has a smooth, creamy, and spreadable texture. The luxurious taste makes a delightful spread on bagels and toast, as the base for a rich cheesecake or even crumbled over a salad.
