Chef Daniel Bruce
Executive Chef at the Boston Harbor Hotel

Daniel Bruce currently serves as Executive Chef at the Boston Harbor Hotel, a Preferred Hotel that includes the acclaimed Rowes Wharf Restaurant and Intrigue Cafe. Prior to joining the Boston Harbor Hotel, Daniel worked at the 21Club in New York City as Executive Chef, the youngest in the history of the club.

He graduated with honors from Johnson and Wales University in 1980. In 1993 Daniel was celebrated as a "Distinguished Visiting Chef" at Johnson and Wales University - only the third alumnus to be chosen in the 14 year history of the program and in 1996, he received an Honorary Doctorates Degree. Daniel has been selected as Chef of the Year for Boston by "Chef in America" and, in the same year, he was honored as of one of the "Best Hotel Chefs in America" at the James Beard House. Daniel has also appeared on several television shows including "The Today Show" and "The Tom Snyder Show".

Internationally renown as the chef of the Boston Wine Festival, Daniel pairs his stylized regional cuisine with outstanding wines each year at the Boston Harbor Hotel. Daniel is a master of wine and food pairings with each year matching over 200 courses with specific wines. The Boston Wine Festival is now in it's 14th year with over 50 events per year and never has a single dish repeated.

He resides in Jamaica Plain with his artist wife, Julianna and his two children.
